Seven, Seven, Five, And Five
It's happening.
"THE BELLE AND SEBASTIAN-TYPE SONG" (E-Amaj7)
Bass beats:
YAMAHA pop rock @ 86 BPM, with INTRO
or: 8beat light @98 BPM, alternating rhythm 1 in and out. Allows space. Come back in half beat before cycling Rhythm 2 out. Also, can cut last bit off Rhythm 1 before bringing 2 up front.
HIGH SYNTH:
synth leads on YAMAHA, #'s 81-85 (high D#)
=Bass line open each verse=
You left her in Tangiers
A love you haven't felt in years
Wearing cowboy boots, you lay
Anywhere, no one can say
No one can say
7,7,5, and 5
Whatever was dead before's a live
You'd give her anything she wants
And want to give her everything
So (you) give her everything
Things left in the dark
By a shadow park
Am (arpeggiagted) E
What was impossible before
Amaj7 E
Got thrown out the door one day
Am E
What was unthinkable in May
Amaj7 E Amaj7
Pushed you out into the fray one day,
E Amaj7
Out into the bay one day
Amaj7 E Amaj7
Don't think about tomorrow
E Amaj7 E Am (hold)
Forget about Tomorrow
It's still today
It's always today
**inst break Am-E, with spanish trumpet over it**
(spare strum of verse chords)
The rhetoric of the day
Leaves nothing to parlay
Go on, tackle it all once more
Do the thing you j'adore
She gives you everything she's got
She gives you everything she's got

Spy Villagers
In a spy village, a postal employee is buried coffinless in a shallow grave.
The whole town exists for the cut glass industry, and to house spies. Many of the small houses have small, rectangular examples of the glass product out front which also serve as a signal that no spy dwells within those specific houses. Which is stupid, because then you could just look for the spies in the houses without the glass products.

I Hear Deaf People
Girl with the celery shoes
I do a lot alone
Who held herself back
Who was there to pick up that slack
A crime to pantomime
Because none of this belongs to me
Rita, I owed her money
The beach, I wanted to swim
Theresa seduced her patrons
So naturally
The painter waves her hand and
I walk down the path
Give up freedom for a pat on the back
And to talk to someone not crazy
Sing
One day, Karen's brother had a tune cycling repeatedly in his head while he was showering. Luckily for us, it turned out to be the horn part in "SIng".
Sing, sing a song
Sing out loud
Sing out strong
Sing of good things not bad
Sing of happy not sad
(*) Sing, sing a song
Make it simple to last
Your whole life long
Don't worry that it's not
Good enough for anyone
Else to hear
Just sing, sing a song
La la la la la
La la la la la la...
Sing, sing a song
Let the world sing along
Sing of love there could be
Sing for you and for me
Repeat (*)

Flying So High You're Small: Big Enough To Be Everywhere
Starts with the lift off. You fly so very high that you are invisible from the ground. You become molecular in the scheme of things, and therefore PART OF EVERYTHING, so, bigger.

Rotating House, Mid-Bay

Near Alcatraz, a large house turns and turns on the bay. People tour it, and if they eat anything, they will be charged exorbitant fees, like $15 for a few almonds. There are no signs stating this, and you press the issue with the caretaker of the place.
Outside, you've been given a needle to the neck, and you're unsure what effect it will have on you. The drug makes you honest. You're pissed about the almonds. Such a relief to say so! Then the sex.

Gigi's Parents' House
On the road home, the old Land Cruiser you're riding in is driven by a friend along a mountain highway, where there are trees and wildlife. You glimpse a black tiger.
Am I Forgetting Something?
Write a spec show, get an agent, be a cast member, be noticed after prolonged or brief persistence a la Charlie Kauffman, Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig. Work your face off a la Zach Galifinakis. Be prepared to not feel as though you've arrived.

My Boloney Has A First Name
What is most visible is a red, 3-D cartoon-style, juicy-looking heart. It is floating within a simple drawing or representation of a person sitting in a chair. Suddenly, the heart itself rises up through this loose body, above the head, moving freely for the first time. The body has loosened it self into the position that allows this to happen, and the big heart is now buoyant and strong.
Broken People Grieving
Their father has died, and there are a few adult children and a wife wandering contemplatively around on an outside deck which is attached to a house or building near the water's edge. A 35 y.o man, wearing black rimmed glasses, with thinning dark hair, and a short -sleeved plaid cotton button-up shirt, is smoking a cigarette. He and a couple of brothers of different ages, plus the widow, are milling about the place- visible at different times apart- each in their own cubicle of pain.
You're Going To Be Ashes
She is singing a song she wrote, saying, "You're going to be ashes". Slow vocals, that show the singer has thought about how someone will be ashes someday. You see the ashes, loose, in a drawer.

“The Shining Psycho”, a movie project.
Helen has ALWAYS been the cleaning woman at The Bygones Motel. She empties all waste baskets, replaces used paper cone coffee cups, dumps and wipe ashtrays with wadded up tissue, to (cough) clean sheets, over and over, and over again. Suppresses dry heaves while on the job. What would a few sprays of luminol reveal in any one of those vermin-infested cesspools they call rooms? It's too late now.
Why couldn’t people at least make sure their used tampons made it into the garbage? WHY?
MAYBE the The Bygones-as well as Helen- would love to purge itself once and for all of two bit hookers and fat, middle aged johns, sundry criminals, meth heads, and assorted fools who’d checked in at the ends of their ropes? Was The Bygones to being using Helen as its tool to enact THE ULTIMATE CLEAN UP??
Helen kills the Bygones’ night manager's mother in the middle of the night. Helen's had enough of Louise’s “helpful hints” on how to do her job better, for fuck’s sake. Whatever, Louise. HELEN HAS A PASS KEY.
A few things need cleaning. TONIGHT:
- Jack’s mother, Louise is found on her bed (in her permanent room at The Bygones), covered in rotting food, with cockroaches crawling in and out of every orifice. Her face has been cleaved off.
- Speed freak hooker found hanging by a makeshift noose from shower head with shower curtain hooks pulled through her eyelids, lots of them, so that the curtain hangs in front of dead body as if she was meant enter the afterlife modestly.
3. Fat, middle aged john found anally impaled with toilet plunger handle. His own pocket knife has been duct taped to the end of the plunger to achieve an smoother impaling.
Shit Giggles Over This

Principle Of Contravalence
You feel so incredibly useless, so guilty, so undistinguished, but for the basket on your back and the carrying of the dog in your arms-- then you drop her. You feel ineffectual, depressed, tired of the status quo, uninspired, unproductive,. disillusioned, scared, and embarrassingly underachieved, without the ability to find your true purpose.
Close-up Of Ranting Immig(rant)
Dark skin, black beard and hair, grey tooth, drinking problem, premature aging.
Speaks of his family and how one night he drank so much, his pillow got wet from drool.
Camera loves him.
Camera loves him.

Roy Orbisphere
As I approach my guides, I realize that the basin, fountain, or like-structure is not made of ivory, but of my own bones.
!
I am given a large, spherical object made of my bone matter, which I ceremoniously, yet simply, lay into a semi-spherical concave seat. Then, it floats/hovers. the main, irreversible fact: it is done.
"Night Mirror"
It's a romance set as a murder mystery. Protagonist is the murderer. Woman falls in love w/her.
Mariska Hargitay plays a serial killer, with motivations like Dexter's from the popular television series. Her character actually employs some of Dexter's tactics, and her dreams tell her who to kill, and why to kill.

Perfidy Lite
1. "There is the voice (in my head), and here I am listening to it."
2. The mind is an asshole.
3. It was a terrible, rainy afternoon, and who do I see out in front? Walter Matthau. He's got a long, heavy coat on with a Racing Form sticking out of the pocket, and he's looking down at the gutter. Here I am in this nice, warm limo. And there he is, this grumpy guy surrounded by a cold, miserable world. The look on his face says, "What's ever going to happen for me? Nothin'!" So I tell the driver to pull alongside him and stop. Now Walter's watching the limo. I roll the window down, look at him, and say, "I fucked Yvonne De Carlo!" Then I roll the window back up in a hurry and tell the driver to get the hell out of there.

Family
Sister whatevers you. Mother makes fucked up claims, and won't STFU. Father is a shit, knocked up a child of neglectful parents, married her, so he fucked around, gambled, drank, smoked, developed diabetes. Grandparents are dead, and were mostly drunks and ill/unhappy, if not good looking.
Being Money
Fabrics are softer at this income, and one gleans that zeroes are no longer a concern. In the case of softness, it represents work done at a rate of pay. As for the zeroes, they'll assemble in a single file line all by themselves, requiring no management whatsoever and are therefore inexpensive to maintain and propagate.

Being Weather
I come to you at night, rinse your dwelling, and rustle your clothing as you cross the street the next morning, yet you're not usually aware of me. I influence your plans, your moods, your wardrobe. I challenge your will. I inspire you. I make you well and sick, and I slake your thirst, then create your thirst. I color your face and sometimes, I give you cancer whether you get too much or too little of me. Haha.
There when you get married, determining where it happens. When you get buried, people may not be there because they're trying to avoid me. I had a hand in those flowers, too, surrounding your dead head and face.
Without the experience of me, you would feel unborn, in a good way. Yet the womb has weather of it's own: stress storms, digestive thunders, even the tumults of sex and crying, games of Twister and household dusting after pregnancy yoga class.
Wig Scenes
Woman looks 37, is 220. She has had four fifty-year careers in her life:
scientist
movie star
piano player

*************************
At a back door of an unknown residence, the introductions are made.
"Jenny, Lenny. Anne, Jenny. Lenny, Anne."
Jenny, Lenny, and Anne exchange looks. The dreamer keeps dreaming.
Jenny wears a black wig- like a hat- as she always does when going out for a special day, with her own lighter hair laying flat at the wig's perimeter.
Jenny favors young men, yet everyone she meets-not just young men- feels they are her personal sex partner, and much of her daily dealings revolve around this potent piece of information. She can move you like the weather.
Shy people she's touched in this way resolved to create sexuality wherever they went, But it was a struggle.
*****************************
Three women dance in the Victorian age, in a parlor. One of them is dreaming the scene. Look at them moving in a circle together, concerted in tacit agreement and enjoyment. Nothing is needed in this moment.
They wear 17th century wigs. The dreamer is making very competent and joyful trumpet sounds with her mouth as she dances with the others.
*************************
A 71 year old woman in her mother's final wig (the mpther has shaven head) drives down to the city, towards her daughter's home, from her isolated mountain location with a gun.
Still more:
Kristen Wiig, wearing a wig, repeatedly cooing, "Ooh Thomas" .
Columbo vs. Kristen Vaughan
"Oh, and one more thing," added Detective Columbo, "I was just wondering why the coupe was parked in back when you said you'd walked in the front door and found your husband with that-uh-sorry to bring up a painful subject, Mrs. Vaughan, but you said you entered and saw him lying there with an axe blade stuck in his forehead, is that right? After coming in through the front door? Yes, well I was just wondering about that. The location of the coupe, I mean."

Vanity Top
Signal this proclivity by placing a loosely folded, handkerchief-sized cutting of mylar into back left jeans pocket. Where mylar is unavailable, a disco ball is a valid substitute.
Three Story Man
On a California freeway, Linda La Palma is driving in excess of 80 mph, away from responsibility.
A three-story man, with beer cans balancing on shoulders and arms stands in the middle of a lane. He's the equivalent of three men high, in graduated sizes, blocking traffic at his own peril. Mainly, people are worried about falling cans, which are oversized and may be full.
Linda stops her car, climbs out, walks over to the three story man, lifts up his pant leg, and tucks herself into a coffee ice cream-colored cotton sock, lowering the pant leg again as the darkness, humid heat, and the scent of manzanita bark permeate the air she breathes.
