THE WHEELCHAIR AFFAIR



Two people were walking downhill on a San Francisco street, pushing two wheelchairs freighted with sundry boxes and bags and an old movie projector. The sun was shining, and much levity was had while the two people shouted back and forth to each other phrases such as, "Look at us!", "God. Look at that chandelier!", "I can't tip it 'cause I'm too tall", when one of the people exclaimed," My outfit matches my wheelchair and your wheelchair matches yours!"


Just then, the two people pushing wheelchairs (and/or not allowing them to roll away) swiftly sailed past a man in his late thirties who was seated in his very own wheelchair, on a small patch of concrete in front of some old flats.
