Sensing a slight tickling on the skin near my collar bone this morning, I reached into the covers of my bed to find and crush a live spider with my fingers. Juicy little thing with legs, tossed out onto the rug.
It was a big early* full of Meryl Streep being very compelling, an angry drunk played with aplomb by one of the Jarrett brothers, the call to duty in the world, my instinct to protect, and the feeling of missing people with all you have.
What a clear, fine morning. This is that spring I'm living to see.
